" Dance with God"

Most people enjoy a nice dance, especially when the musics' got a good beat. Dancing with God is even better. I mean literally, if we get a chance to dance with God then by all means take it. What better partner to share the beat with?? What better leader to conduct our steps? What better music director than God? NONE! So I praise and thank God for dancing with me,and I hope you do too. "God Speaks"

How does God speak to you?? God speaks to me in many different ways, but the best for me is through song. I hear a song and the message is what God wants me to hear. "Cry out to Jesus". " Oh no you never let go". "Oh happy day". Sometimes what I hear is what I need to know. " My Jesus ran the opposite way". " I once was lost but now I am found". " Jesus what can I give?".

My challenge to everyone is , How does God speak to you and are you listening??

'

"Wonder of God"

I just love when God paints a new picture on earth.We get this spring storm and along with closings and travel issues, we get an awesome landscape! The sheer detail of it all is beyond human understanding. The beauty though, is truly Godlike. The glory of it all will change as it warms and melts, adding a new dimension to an already perfect portrait. Praise and humbleness to God is the only response I can think of. "Anger"

I have always been unsure of how to handle anger? I used to think that it was wrong. The story in the bible of Jesus in the market somehow seemed sinful. I have come to realize that anger is a human reaction to an injustice. In Jesus's case it was an injustice to God . In human cases it is an injustice to ourselves. The emotion that anger unleashes is quite powerful and can be destructive
(Jesus overturned tables and benches). The release of that energy is needed however.God can and will allow us to"vent" properly as Jesus did. Pray; God be our source of wisdom in how and when we are angry. Verses Matthew 21: 12-13 Proverbs 15: 1 James 1: 19

"Trust"

Here is an area we all can improve. I am working on this aspect of my life. To totally trust God and all that he does. The human side of me is impatient and wants results now. The spiritual side realizes that God is in control and will do what is right for me. My goal and lesson is to shift to living more on the spiritual side. My prayer is for all his children; God, help us to trust and follow you more closely every day. Verses Isaiah 30: 15 & 18

Perserverance

I have had an opportunity to try and persevere. I am not even sure why at times?? It's a human trait to do just that. How do we know when enough is enough? God knows ! How do we get that out of God, prayer,song, his word? I am guessing the best we can do is ask ourselves, is what we are persevering at really serving Gods' needs and purpose in our lives??? If it only serves ourselves and our desires, then maybe we are on the wrong track?? Verse Hebrews 10:36 Suggest Hebrews 10: 19-39

"Praise God"

In everything we do we have the opportunity to praise God. I find at work when the shop phone rings, the last thing I think is Praise God! A friend suggested that I change my thinking. Now I can't wait today for the phone to ring! I know I will immediately think "Praise God". What a nice way to change a perceived nuisance in my life to a Praise moment. Maybe others can try this philosophy too?? Good luck and Praise God always and "all the days" all day long.

Love God Love yourself Love others

I took todays title from a movie speech, Sometimes God uses unique ways to get through to us. The core of it all is so simple(Love God). The rest may require more effort. Loving ourselves may be a struggle. If we recognize that the very fact that God loves us then loving ourselves should be easy. The same holds true for loving others, as God loves all his creation.

"Worship"

I am always amazed at how God can reach us through worship. There is a closeness and power in that experience. It's like God joins us in a way that connects and comforts us. The power of music to the human soul is beyond understanding. The power of God is also beyond our scope. Praise goes out to God for this ministry to each of us. "Freedom"

Our great country brags about it's freedom. As Americans we are free to do just about anything. Freedom in Christ is so much more. Knowing and believing is so powerful. Once we have accepted Jesus there is a freeing of our souls. Freedom to live for and about God! Freedom to feel and live with the Holy Spirit. Freedom to walk with Jesus every day. And hopefully freedom to become everything God has in store for us. Galatians 5 : 1 and 13-15

"GREEN"

There is large interest in our world to live "Green". What does that even mean? Today, of all days that can get pretty goofy. Enviromental groups would say they want us to honor and protect this world we live in. What about Christians?? My perception is like theirs with a twist. I also believe we need to clean up all of our daily actions. To be green not only to the earth but to all whom inhabit it too. Pray : God help us to love, honor, and protect ALL you have provided.
