"Moving"

Selling my house and trying to pack and move has made it difficult to find anything!!! Including my mind!! I can't find all my resources readily, so my postings will be on hold for a few weeks until we get settled in our new place. Be back June??? God will refuel me in the meantime.. "Worry and Apprehension"

Is any one out there exempt from worry? I would think all of us at one time or another worry about something.

There is no point in doing so but we do anyhow. God has it all figured out, so we should allow him to do just that! I am of the type that thinks action is vital to success. I always try and be prepared and have explored all of my options.Am I paranoid and reluctant to let God do his part? Am I covering up my actual worry character?

It is a difficult task to just allow God to be the answer to life's many issues. Somehow it seems risky and reckless. It is biblical to trust and follow God! Verses: Matt 6: 25-34 Prov 16: 20 1Cor 3: 8-23

"Throwing out Junk"

I am in the middle of moving and am surprised at how much junk we accumulate. We seem to be great at keeping useless stuff. I have no need to sell or otherwise redistribute more things. My perception is that if there was any value in any of it, we would have utilized it by now.

Our reluctance to let it go seems to come from a comfort it may have brought us at one time? Just like junk in our lives, we are probably reluctant to part with stuff we want to keep.

It takes a new mind set of WHY? Why do we keep this stuff? What good purpose could it possibly have? Will we ever really use it again, or just continue to keep it in cold storage?

Cleaning out our houses and our lives gives us oppurtunity to leave the old behind and embrace the new and productive things in our lives! Verses: 2 Cor 7: 1-16 2Peter 1: 3-15 Acts 9

"Lover'

God provides us with an ultimate experience. We can meet, fall in love, and share life with a significant other. The feelings we get from a love shared are unlike any other of life's'experiences.

The combination of male and female is a deep relationship that mirrors our relationship with God. We then can experience aspects of God we don't possess ourselves.

We also can be caring and selfless in our love for one another. Their love and care for us can reflect Gods' love and care for us. By honoring this in our lives, God has the ability to enhance and enlighten our lives. All of our joint experiences can build a life long history of Gods' desire for us!
